Because we’re dedicated to empowering the underserved and technologically disadvantaged in our local community, we are launching a technology donation program. Our latest initiative, the Community Empowerment TechDrop program, is a continuation of our commitment to empowering our community and the world through access to technology, and educational empowerment.
BootUp’s TechDrop: Technology Donation Program Overview:
We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Community Empowerment TechDrop, a community based technology donation program. This program is designed to distribute essential tech devices – including Android Phones, iPhones, iPads, Desktops, and Laptops – to individuals who are in dire need of technology to advance their educational, entrepreneurial, or career ambitions.
Understanding the Need: In today’s technology-dependent world, the absence of a functional device can be a significant barrier. Through our technology donation program we are aiming to eliminate this hurdle by providing the necessary technology to bridge the digital divide. Although, BootUp is continually serving youth, teens and young adults, but we also understand that many parents, families and community members also have technology needs that too often going unfulfilled. Through BootUp’s TechDrop, we are establishing a technology donation program that will strategically support a wide spectrum of those in need in our community.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Actively pursuing an educational, entrepreneurial, or career goal.
- Demonstrable financial need.
- A commitment to personal growth and community betterment.
Potential Technology Benefits: Participants in the program have the opportunity to receive a range of tech devices, each chosen to best support their specific goals and needs.
